  • Special Weeks

    1. HAZUR WEEK OF HUMAN UNITY AND PEACE

A special week of human unity and peace is celebrated in honor of Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj’s Birthday in July. Students representing different classes conduct assemblies on the topic of unity and peace where they project their talent in the form of songs, poems and skills. Special cultural programmes are organized, and staff and students brainstorm ways of spreading the message of unity and peace in their own lives, the community and the world at large.

    2. KIRPAL WEEK OF LOVING KINDNESS

In today’s world when machines are replacing manpower and computers are gaining importance over human brains, Darshan Academy still gives prime importance to humanity and service to mankind. The school celebrates ‘Kirpal Week of Loving Kindness’ during the first week of February in honor of Param Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj’s birthday. Students present talks, plays, ghazals and songs on the topic of loving kindness. They also engage in small and big acts of kindness and in community service, such as planting trees, and distributing food and clothing to people in need.

    3. DARSHAN AND RAJINDER LOVE AND SERVICE WEEK

Darshan Academy’s mission is to ensure that each child within their fold is equipped with academic, artistic and creative skills. Mental, emotional and spiritual growth are given equal importance as they are considered to be essential for the children’s development as critical thinkers, responsible citizens, lifelong learners and above all good human beings. Students are encouraged to develop the virtues of compassion, love and selfless service. Keeping this in mind the school celebrates” Love and Service Week” in September in honour of the great Masters’ birthdays.
