In honour of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru’s love for children, everyone began to remember his birthday as Children’s Day. The Day is celebrated every year with grand splendour and fiesta at Darshan Academy Ambala. A special assembly was conducted for children with an endearing presentation by the teachers. The Children’s Day celebration began with a speech by a Grade VIII student. Kindergarten kids presented a wonderful dance performance. The students and teachers also enjoyed different recreational games. Overall, Children’s Day was a fun-filled and memorable day for all.
